A warm, open community in Vaughan, Ontario — gathered around the Rabbi’s table for Shabbos, farbrengens, classes, holidays, and song. Every soul is welcome.
“Make the Torah a tree of life for those who hold it close — and a delight for all who pass by.”
The Chabad House is small by design — a living room more than a hall — and that’s the point. People come to learn a piece of Torah, share a meal, sing a niggun, and leave feeling a little more themselves.
Newcomers, regulars, families, students, those who have been to a hundred shuls and those who have never been to one — there’s a seat at the table for you.
— Rabbi Boruch & Karine Merkur
Shabbos — davening, Torah, a long table, song, and food made with love.
Farbrengens — gatherings on the chassidic dates of the calendar, late into the night.
Weekly classes — Chassidus and Halacha, accessible to every background.
Holidays — Yom Tov meals, megillah, Pesach seder, Sukkah hops, Chanukah candles in the snow.
Music — the Rabbi’s niggunim, often live, always heartfelt.
Drop a line and we’ll save you a place. Shabbos, a class, a farbrengen, or just to say hello.
